Only some of my games have achievements unlocking while others do not.

Over a week ago I started playing Quantum Break and I beat the first level and have not gotten any of the achievements. It does not show anywhere on Xbox that I completed it but in the game menu it shows that I have completed Acts and 100% them but nothing.
That same day I fired the remake of crash bandicoot and achievements were popping up. I did a hard reset on both the xbox and my internet (I must add that my Xbox one is wired to the internet and not wireless). I waited over 72 hours like most forums said
and repeated the steps of resetting everything and yet nothing still. I then went to Call of Duty World War 2 to finish up some campaign achievements and they are also not unlocking but when I played Sea of Thieves last night those achievements were popping.

Not really sure what is going on here but it Is really annoying.

Achievements not Unlocking!!

Hello BlakManDan, there was a problem yesterday with Achievements not only yourself were having these problems but everyone else on Xbox one. Your Achievement should unlock by itself in a couple of days some are already unlocking for others. I've had this
problem too and my achievements unlocked after awhile no need to worry .

Rise of the Tomb Raider on Win10 Achievements Not Unlocking

Hey there, BKLortz! To clarify what is going on, are these achievements listed as "Done! Unlocking..." or are they simply not unlocking for you?

We are aware of achievements taking longer than normal to fully unlock. If your achievements simply say that they are unlocking, the only thing you can do is wait for them to fully unlock.

As of right now, the only achievements not unlocked on your account that I can see are Firestarter and 4 Baba Yaga achievements. Are there others that you are missing?

it's a known issue that some games achievements willn't unlock once completed, it can be locked in the 100% stage for a while. i am sure in the future those achievements will unlock.

It should not be possible to have an unlocked online-only achievement without a date showing. The complication is that, for example, not all multiplayer achievements are "online only"-- some games allow for such achievements to be unlocked by local,
offline play or System Link, but some games do not. Often, achievements that are online-only will say "online" or "ranked" in their descriptions to indicate that they can't be unlocked offline, but not always.

Some games do allow you to swap saves between profiles but doing so will disable the ability to unlock achievements while you use that save.

The only game that springs to mind that allows it is Mass Effect.

Gamerscore is only for fun and is for showing off what you have done. no real reason to worry about it but there are some achievements that unlock other achievements and or uncrackable in some games now. so in some way it does matter and in others it does
not.

Def Oso

The only issues I've had were the achievements not popping up, they were in my gamerscore achievement list though. This only occurred with a few not all. I do recall some achievements on other games where it took awhile before they unlocked. Give it some
time, they should catch up. Never thought I'd say that in this day and age of gaming, lol!
