    Recently, I have tried recording game clips when playing games such as Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO. When I try to use the default game bar keys, " Windows Logo + G", all it does it brighten my screen then dim it down, and repeat once more. I have tried looking
    up solutions. I came across a post that said to go into the Xbox app on PC, go to Settings, Game DVR, and change the keys to use. But when I go into the Xbox app, go to settings, Game DVR, all I come across is "Record game clips and screenshots using Game
    DVR", which I have turned on. Does anyone know why there are no other options or settings? Do I have to enable something?

    Open the XBOX app in Windows 10

    Click on the Settings Cog

    Click on the Game DVR tab

    Switch Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR to the Off position

    XBOX Game Bar cannot record the screen (neither in game nor desktop)

    Check your Game DVR settings: Open the Xbox app,
    then Settings and then Game DVR. Make sure that Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR
    is set to On. Make sure that the game isn't set to full-screen mode only. You can use the Game
    bar     for some full-screen games, but not all.

    Xbox One DVR will not record

    You can only record gameplay, ie when playing a game.

    Also you don't need to start a recording through Game DVR, you only need to pick End Clip & select 5 minutes.

    Also make sure you have Game DVR enabled in Setting > preferences > enable the DVR function.
