Only reason I'm not signing up for Game Pass

Comcast data cap.

Be nice if companies like Microsoft who are looking to build digital revenues could put some pressure on over that. They are literally costing Microsoft money now.

I often don't buy a game because the download is too big (and I'm all digital), now I am not subscribing to Game Pass because of Comcast. Sure I'm not the only one.

I am with you 100%. I would love to buy game pass but I can't because of the data cap with Comcast. They say 1 TB is plenty, but with a house of people who constantly use the internet to stream tv shows, movies, twitch, and game it really isn't. My brother
and I both buy our games digitally and it is hard to even buy a game now because of fear of going over the cap. I was really excited for game pass until this realization hit.

Data caps are the worlds biggest scam. There is literally no need for them other than to bleed you of an exorbitant amount of money if you go over. People should protest that nonsense.

These data caps on home broadband seem to be an American thing, as pretty much all but the most basic home broadband in the UK is unlimited. We used to have caps, but that was years ago, back when we thought that we would never need anything more than a
10GB limit, these days I could easily use 10GB in an afternoon.

Their could be a couple of reasons

Make sure youre signed into the account that has the actual game pass and make sure your account isnt signed on, on your xbox

If youre getting game pass by system link (game share) the only way to play the XGP is to be signed on the account that is actually paying for the game pass on PC

I don't see any cons really. The only reason why I don't sign up for the ultimate instead of the regular game pass is that I own a Mac, so I have no need for the PC part of it.
