Only one game for July games with gold?

Sounds about right. I still think they started this promotion way too early for the Xbox One. There just aren't enough games out right now. No game company wants to give away their titles 6 months after release.

 

Might be that they'll switch it in two weeks so that they have a game rotating very two weeks instead of two games each month.

 

I will be getting all but Battleblock Theater, since I already own it. Speaking of which, BBT is an awesome game nobody should pass up.
I'll be more than happy to play with any new blockeads once they're on the scene, so feel free to hit me up so we can get the show on the road and break a leg!

As long as Microsoft give me at least one free game per month I'm a happy bunny. I'm interested to see what Microsoft's plans are with GWG.

 

why do you say there's usually two when it just started for Xbox One? i told people it could be anywhere from 1-2 games on Xbox One.

 

Guacamelee is the perfect game to go free.. I haven't played it but heard great things. Got a 9.0 from IGN, only complaint.. Too short. Oh well, it's gonna be free son!

 

I miss the old free games with Gold policy,it was suppose to be better but so far it's worst.

Microsoft starts it too early,i lost "the right to own" those free games (i can only rent them) and it didn't improve "the quality" of those games (not even the quantity).

Why they didn't wait a year or two,keep the old policy,give a mix of indies and AAA titles....Like it was on Xbox 360.

 

I was really hoping Outlast was going to be free. I guess I'll probably end up buying it.

 

Too soon for Outlast to go free really. Be interesting to see what is next.

 

Battleblock Theater is totally worth with the 360s free games. Bought it the other day when it went on sale on Steam and I'm really enjoying it.

 

Played and finished Guacamelee on my Vita and its a very good game!!! If you like those Metroid-vania style games then you'll love this. Nice work MS!!!

 

At the grand re-opening of Battleblock Theater, all free-going patrons will get to see the show "Cats" on us!
