XBOX One only works on one television

Depends on how old the TV is and how old your console is compared to the one from your neighbour

Basically TV's and consoles/set top boxes etc that use HDMI have to do a "hand shake" (its digital rights management) your older TV may be having problems doing the hand shake with your console, but it its fine with your neighbours.

The other thing is that your Xbox may be set to output at 1080p on your TV that works, but your older TV may not be able to show 1080p.

It will take a bit of investigating on your side, for example check what resolution your neighbours console and change your console to the same on your TV that works.

  3. XBOX One only works on one television

    Hi,

I've seen similar in the forums but haven't seen a solution. For years we've had the XBOX One on an older Vizio. We wanted to move the console to another room with a newer, but still older Proscan tv. We know that TV works because we have Fios as our cable
    provider and it's works fine.

We walked our console and cables to other room with Proscan, connected everything and the screen was blank. I switched back to Fios and that worked. The Proscan had a second HDMI connection so I tried that one. Same thing - console
was blank screen but Fios worked when we switched to it.

Tried different HDMI cables, and same thing as above happened.

Tried HDMI to VGA connection - same as above.

Borrowed neighbor's Xbox One console and that console worked on the Proscan!! So I just pulled out the HDMI from neighbor's Xbox One and put it in my Xbox One, and the screen stayed blank (everything was on and connected properly). Crazy!!

So I carried my console back to original Vizio tv and it works fine. It doesn't want to work anywhere else and can't understand why. We even tried to connect to son's Dell monitor, which we've successfully connected his laptop too,
but the console won't work there either.

It only works on the Vizio. How can this be???

    Regards

  5. The game was never "Only on Xbox One", the game is on both Xbox 360 and One and PC too. You don't get points for being in the elite Xbox One, next gen crew so I don't really see a problem. Yeah, maybe putting it on 360 aswell held the game back a bit but
they need to get a large audience to make some money back so that we can get a great next-gen game as a sequel.

Hello "TurokhanUK" Only on Xbox one.. :)

    ---

Past trends have indicated that the transition between the current generation of consoles to the next generation of consoles takes a while. Thus, it is understandable that "Titanfall" will be coming out for the Xbox 360 because of the Xbox 360's large installation
    base.

    ---

Like "Dyanamic Sausage" said, the developers need to make a profit in order to make the sequel. While I do agree with the fact that releasing "Titanfall" on the 360 may slow down the momentum of Xbox One sales, it could also boost the Xbox One sales simply
because of the fact that the Xbox One is the better version of this game. Thus, it has a great potential to sell more Xbox One units too. Henceforth, releasing it on the Xbox 360 isn't such a bad move at all in my opinion Only on Xbox one.. :)

I'm not either and I implied no one was a political advocate either way, my point was that the media knew about this since 2002 and its just now a big issue, the only reason being the pile on effect of the other scandels. If you read my very first line I
said I don't agree wigh the program and the post is showing the hypocrisy of those up in arms over the issue. I don't know you or your story but you can't deny the backwards nature of people who are complaining the loudest (media to be more clear this time)
are the ones who live and die by social media. If someone has a legitimate issue with maintaining their privacy by all means I back that 100% but if you then go on facebook to rant about privacy on the same page with your familyphotos and every detail of everyday
of your life and dont see the problem youre on your own.

    .

Also about not voting I hope you mean that you vote but not for popular choice, because if you don't vote you really uave no leg to stand on and you're more the problem then the solution. Complaining about governance by saying "that's why I don't vote" make
    you seem uneducated and whiney.

I don't agree with PRISM but the people up in arms are some of the biggest hippocrates I've ever seen. How are you going to justify the kneejerk reaction people are having at the thought of government collecting data in a program implemented in the Bush
era with the patriot act, everyone knew what was in the patriot act it was reported heavily that the NSA was collecting data legally when subpoenas to google were being fought in open court. It was never a problem till president blackenstein was elected. Besides
if your argument is that you don't want the government to have a list of the phone numbers you called that argument is invalidated anytime you post or tweet when and what you had for lunch or the thousand other useless trivial pieces of data people think the
    world needs to know about.

    .

As for the xbox in relation the only thing scary or even an issue in general is you don't always know who your chatting with orwhere they are from. At different times of day ill be in lobbies with people from the U.K. to Australia and occasionaly from my
same neighborhood. Fact is you never know who you are connected to and the authority given to the U.S. govt to collect data is only if that communication is done with an outside country. Anyone of us could be randomly connected with a tterrorist foreign or
domestic and when those records are pulled we may end up with the FBI knocking on our door to ask some questions, this is the real problem, not big brother checking what you had for lunch, they just gotta search your social media profile to find that info.
