Only getting one month warranty on new console!

I purchased a new Xbox One from amazon.in on 14th October 2015. When I registered my device, the Microsoft website says that my warranty is only valid till 16th November 2015. Shouldn't the Xbox be under warranty for 1 year after the date of purchase?

Regardless of what it may say from Amazon, new Xbox One console has a 1 year warranty and 90 days for Xbox accessories, see "Product Warranty:
Xbox One console". You can check Xbox warranty status at, "Getting your Xbox console or Kinect sensor serviced" .

Contact your retailer and take up the issue with them

Also you may contact support and fax the receipt to them however i suggest contact your etailer firsy

 

I contacted the retailer but they said that they can only give me the invoice and my warranty should be valid for a year. But since Microsoft is the one that provides the warranty, Amazon says that they cannot help.
