Online Subscription not allowing for apex legends sign in

I have an xbox love gold subscription. I can log into any game in my xbox one x, netflix, and spotify. But when I go to play apex legends, it tells me my profile is not allowed to play online, and starts trying to give me payment options for xbox live
as if I don't have a subscription and didn't just play online destiny 2 a moment ago. (I cannot purchase this options either) I've restarted the xbox, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, changed servers with right stick and nothing is working. This has really
been frustrating and going on for 2 days. I played that morning and I just want to play the game now. Please help.

No, a Gold subscription is required to play Apex, as specified in the
game page: "Online multiplayer on Xbox requires Xbox Live Gold (subscription sold separately)".

Im having problems also. A certain profile does not allow me to sign in to apex legends. Keeps saying server connection issue. When i sign in with another account it works.

As Apex Legends is a free game, and you already have a gold subscription, as long as that doesn't expire, you'll be able to play the game online, that and many other free Xbox games.

Yes, you do need a Gold Subscription to play online multiplayer, however you do not need Gold Subscription to play free-to-play games, such as COD Warzone, Destiny 2, Fortnite, Apex Legends, etc, etc.
