Online profile transfer question

I understand how the transfer is going to work, but my question is, once I do the transfer to Xbox One, will I still be able to play GTA online on my 360? Only reason im curious is because I have friends that I play gta with that dont have an Xbox One
yet. Thanks in advance for any info.

It sounds like you created an offline profile on your 360 for your partner. Unless it's an online profile with a unique associated email address, you won't be able to transfer it across. Your profile transferred, but your partners isn't attached to it, it's separate and offline on the 360.

I'd look at trying to convert the offline profile on your 360 to an online one, associate an email with it, then load that up in the One.

 

Transfer data question.

I have searched around quite a bit, but have not found any information directly answering my question. Not sure if I am searching the right way.

But anyways... I will give the run down.

I have 2 360's. One of them is an offline unit (for kids). I will connect my profile to it online on occasion and purchase games or dlc. I know this content is married to that 360. However, I am looking to upgrade the harddrive in it from a 120GB to 320GB. Now, my question is. If I use a transfer cable, will the new harddrive affect the married content and making it where I have to log into my profile to use that content, or will it transfer the console license with it and it will work as normal?

I am trying to avoid having to use my profile on the kid's console to use the content I purchase with my account.

Not sure if I explained it correctly.

 

Yeah most likely you will be able to use them on both systems like you can on COD

You will be able to play on both consoles but after the transfer the save progress will be seperate
