Online & Privacy Settings - "Temporary Service Error"

Every time I attempt to change my profile to adult defaults, it errors out and tells me there was a "temporary service error"

Any thoughts?

These settings are outdated from my 360 and are causing party issues with my profile.

I have tried changing them on xbox.com, but there selections are different.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Cannot access my Xbox privacy settings

When I attempt to access my Xbox One's privacy settings- to allow me to play non Rockstar content and play online in Fifa 17- it comes up with this error "There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again.". This occurred yesterday and today.

When I attempt to change my privacy settings through the website it comes up with " Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. It appears you've found a glitch in our system. Please try again later."- this also happened yesterday.

Please can someone tell me how to change my settings/ change them for me.

Cannot create a new liveid or download an existing one on xbox 360

For those of you who are having the error code 8C230002 here are some solutions that are in the volunteer database.

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status. ( at the current time purchasing services are up and running )

Solution 2: Adjust your privacy settings

If you're using an adult account, sign in to this account, and then make sure it has unrestricted access to content. You can adjust your settings on your Xbox 360 console or online.

Adjust your online privacy settings using your console

1.Sign in to the account that's having the issue, go to the Settings hub, and select Privacy.

2.In the Privacy & Online Settings panel, select Change Settings.

3.Select Customize.

4.Scroll down and select Member Content, and then set it to Everyone.

Adjust your privacy settings online

1.Sign in to your Microsoft account.

2.Under Security & Privacy, select Xbox privacy and online safety.

3.Select Xbox 360 Online Safety.

4.Select the account you signed in with, and then set Social Network Sharing to Allowed.

5.Select Save.

You will have to make it a adult account, by using and updated payment and billing options, add your own over 18 debt card for your bank, also if it not that, then try to go to xbox.com and update privacy and safety on the website, once updated, restart
system and now check

Hey there Turtle! Have you also tried updating the privacy settings on the console? Do you get an error message or code there? Also, can you confirm if you are the parental account holder or not? Let us know, thanks!

Try the following:

To fix that problem, you'll need to sign into that parental account first on Xbox.com and agree to the new terms, and if there isn't a gamertag created for it, you'll need to let Microsoft create one. Once that's done, try to login to your account again and
edit your privacy and online settings if you wish to do so. It should now work.

1) Go to http://account.live.com and sign in there with the Microsoft ID (formerly the Windows Live ID), the email address used to create your XBL account.

2) Click on Update Email Address to replace your Microsoft ID with a new one. It may prompt you to add 'proofs', security data needed to recover your account and verify your identity. If so, please provide that information: If not, then we'll catch up in
the next step.

3) Sign out, go back to http://account.live.com and sign in there with the new Microsoft ID.

4) If it did not already prompt you for the security info, go down towards the bottom of the Account Summary page and click on Edit security info to add in the your cellphone number, an alternate email address and the Security Question and its Secret Answer.
Save the changes then verify the 'proofs' you have just provided.

0) And, since these web pages are .ASPX pages, this is best done with Internet Explorer. If you don't have IE, Safari or Firefox are better than Chrome.

Hey there Sniper! Can you let us know exactly what pages you are trying to get to when you see those errors? Can you try clearing the browser's cookies and cache (all pages, for all time) and try again? You can also try different browsers to see if that
