Online ping issues

Good evening,

I wanted to ask for a help because I'm having ping issues when playing online. Few months ago I did a restart on my console, I don't remember where I went to do that but I picked an option where I can reset my console but keep all my games installed. After that I started to get ping issues while playing online games for example NBA 2k21, UFC 4. While playing NBA I often get notifications on top of my screen that there's a problem with network, I start teleporting from one end of the court to another, sometimes when I join on a court to play and when the match is about to start I get kicked out because of connection with somekind of error. In UFC 4 I've seen I had around 110 ping. When I go to my Xbox settings and checked the internet the downloading/uploading speed was good, ping was below 30, everything was good, but when I'm starting to play online only then I'm starting to get those issues. I'm using router, but I did try plugging in intertet cable. Made no difference. Everything was good before I decided to reset my console. Any suggestions on how I could fix that problem? Because my friends for example are not getting any of those notifications while we playing together, only me. I'm also using same region as I used before the reset, just wondering if somebody could help me, thanks and have a nice day/evening.

unfortunately game servers are global so depending on load you may find one that is further away than usual

Hi there ogkazlas welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I used to have a similar issue with all my games, I had to do the following:

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

I did offline system update and also did what you said, played a few games, looks like everything's normal, thanks for your help!
