Online multiplayer

I haven't been able to find a match at all.

 

This game is a total joke. I have played all of 3 games in 2 days.

 

I know we live in the "I need it now" times. But this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I don't know of a game that I have played on release day, since forever, that hasn't had these issues. Believe me I am the first to say you paid for it you should get
what you paid for. But at this point it is just something I take into consideration when trying to play games, really within the first few weeks of launch.

 

Actually it is a surprise to me.

Normally when servers for a new game breaks down it's due to server overload.

This is not due to server overload. This is something different.

I don't know if the fault is with the servers or a bug in the game but this could have all been avoided if they had beta tested the game before releasing it.

Also I can't remember a new xbox game ever having server problems that couldn't be fixed in a day before.

 

The power of the cloud! Dedicated servers! Wait, what?

Yes, lots of games have some issues at launch. However it has been a good while since I've seen a game this bad on the first couple of days. This is a first party title for a system we bought being touted for dedicated servers etc. It's unacceptable it was
released in this state. Hopefully it's all cleared up very soon.

 

I have to say this has really soured me on preordering anything from 343 again.

 

Uugh..I do hope this is not another Halo 10th debacle. I'm in L.A. while my co-op buddy is in London and again, we are having problems trying to join each others sessions, be it matchmaking, custom or Co-op campaign. We have up on Halo 10TH but won't give
up so easily on this title, it cost enough so 343 BETTER get it working!

 

The thing that bothers me the most is there is no updates regarding the issues from Microsoft. It would be nice for some eta from the xbox team as to when these issues will be resolved.

 

2:50 PST in Sothern California still can't find matches

 

This is ridiculous! I have spent a large amount of money to buy the Xbox one with an additional controller and the Halo MC Edition and I have not been getting my money's worth by a long shot! I have not been able to at least play one game online since the
game was released! Microsoft!!!!!!!
