Online multiplayer issues. Have gold membership but not letting me online after using 14 day ...

Hi can someone help me please?

I have got myself a Xbox one and I used the 14 day free trial which ran out on the 23rd November 2016 I then paid for gold membership on the 24th November 2016 which went ok and on the 24th later on that evening it would not let me go on any online games
(Multiplayer) or join Xbox live chat with friends,

I try join a party it comes up with a message saying get more with Xbox gold.

Multiplayer comes up with a message saying you are missing multiplayer privileges go to ea.com

I've rang Microsoft up spent a hour on phone removing my account putting back on, removing updates and reinstalling updates. Checked internet which is fine, I can go on Netflix and I can even download free games from gold membership and my account even says
membership renewal is on the 24th December 2016

I have no idea it's doing my head in and if anyone has any ideas or had the same problems and managed to fix it I would be great full for all your help or advice

Xbox gold and cant play gta online

Sounds like you are using a 14 day trial.

Some games will not let you play online with a trial,you would need a full gold membership.

Trials only give you limited access to some xbox live gold features.

 

Guests on Xbox Live for Halo 4

Are you using this account? It could be because this account is only a silver account, and most online related gaming requires a Gold membership. This includes any multiplayer functions.

Even if you had a 14 day trial code, that doesn't count as a Gold membership.
