    Online Issue With The Xbox One


    My problem occurred awhile ago while playing Dying Light.Went to the dashboard while playing to check something up in my achievement list when suddenly my Xbox One froze up, forcing me to do a hard reset.Since then, Xbox Live refuses to function properly,
    although in my network settings, it sais I'm connected.I'm unable to play any of my downloaded games, check my friends list, or even look at my achievements since it always asks me to connect to XBL.My connection is wired and my NAT type is opened, so no problems
    there.

    Anyone else having issues with XBL today?Or did my console just gone and effed up on me...?

    Oh man, well let's keep going! Could you disconnect your Xbox 360 console from online completely, and then power cycle your Home Hub for 5 minutes? You can do so by just unplugging the Home Hub from power. After the 5 minutes, plug your Home Hub back in
    and try connecting only your Xbox One to online. Hopefully that refreshes the UPnP table. Try going online to play FIFA 15 and see if that works! Online Issue With The Xbox One :)

    Xbox one overall online issue

    Actually we will need the brand and model numbers for the router and modem hardware your consoles are connected to. I also went ahead and removed your SSID from the post. Online Issue With The Xbox One :)

    Ugh, never mind.They updated the XBL Status website and it indicates that the XB1 in general is having issues.I was just worried because the problems started after I did the hard reset, and I thought the console itself was *** up.

    I looked at everything, and it all seemed to be in order. The same problem occurs. Could it be anything else?

    Yes thanks! Are you comfortable editing the settings on your BT Home Hub? On your PC you will need to open your router software and enable UPnP. Here are some simple steps on how to get there from another thread

    here (for your reference).

    • Go to advanced settings > home network > devices. Your xbox should be one of the listed connections, click on it. Down at the bottom it will say "Always use this IP Address". Make sure no is selected and click apply
    • Go to advanced settings >Firewall > UPnP. Make sure both "UPnP" and "Extended UPnP Security" are set to yes and click apply.
    • Go to advanced settings > Firewall > DMZ. Make sure "DMZ Enable" is set to no and click apply."
    Make sure the settings match the above and let us know how things go!
