Online Harassment that turned into Death threats

Greetings ,

I was playing with family members with a online player that was a regular. He was a little obnoxious at times and out of line . this past weekend he went way past the line, he got mad at my one family member that was a minor because he was defending his
step dad. Well this person made a out of line comment and became vulger. Well at that point all communications with that person were severed. for the past week this person has created 6-10 new accounts to send death threats towards my family members and a
personal friend. Every time i we block an account that he creates he creates another to send more threats. We have all sent complaints and haven't gotten anywhere . the treats are continuing and getting more explicit. This has been going on for 4 days now.
He also comes into the games that we play and constantly disrupts gameplay and ruin the Xbox experience, Well, now I left with no other option that to call local law enforcement. Xbox please help my family . please

Any harassment concerning xbox live should be reported on your console.

Xbox live has various tools to report and block communication via your console.

Anything else is upto the other sites to deals with, facebook etc.

Any attacks on your internet connection should be reported to your ISP.

If the harassment is that serious i would contact the police.

Summer 2014, a group of mutual friends played a particular game on the 360. I would say it was a group of 20 or so people. The story begins when a young lady comes to visit over the summer for a few days. Keep in mind the friendship grew over 2-3 years of
playing the same game. My attacker (mutual friend of the whole group) swears that they were an online couple at the time she visited. The girl being young and not thinking screenshot a text with my telephone number and this is where the whole can of worms
opens. Along with all the service denial attacks, several unrestricted telephone at all times of the day. I just changed my telephone number and quit playing Xbox Live all together. Fast Forward to April 1st, 2015 the same gentlemen is now harassing my current
girlfriend. She doesn't online game(doesnt game at all) and there should reason why he is bothering my current girlfriend. I don't know how he got her info. She knows what happened in the past because I told her so there is no surprises. He is messaging her
through a fake Facebook account, texting her through a google generated telephone number and calling her with restricted numbers. Its getting a bit ridiculous. I know the gamertag he is currently using, he uploads to youtube. I know he harasses and ddos other
online gamers. There has to something to slow this guy down. Any suggestions would be great. I'm just trying to move on with my life.

Try to change your gamertag and your profile picture. Then he will not be able to recognize you. So he will not be able send more threats witht new accounts.

If someone is making life altering threats you should contact your local Police Department and file a complaint. This may also fall into the category of the FBI.

local law enforcements don't deal with cyber threats. I will have to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Division. I'd hate to waste there time and have them subpoena MS. It would be Microsofts best interest to handle this situation
themselves.

Do I fear for my life over this? Not in the slightest. Do I feel that kids should be able to get away with sending death threats? what do you think? Social online gaming has taken a turn for the worst in the past couple years. The old school "good game"
has now turned to "your garbage" "homo" "try hard" etc etc. I get hate mail daily. it doesn't bother me. I find it humorous and make montages out of them. But sending death threats is a whole different ball game. it is not OKAY to think one can get away with
these threats, be them serious or empty. there has to be a line where Microsoft says enough, and I think Death Threats is a good place to start.

Just go to profile, report & block. And after is a matter with the enforcement team.

Careful when answering back,or you could get the both a communication ban.
