Online game play

If you just purchased the membership today and entered it on this website it can take a while for the gold to populate your account. To speed the process up follow these instructions.

On the dash go to System>Settings>Network and run and Connection Test. This will sign you out. When you sign back in it will show as gold.

My account says I have to purchase to play multiplayer on cod mw but when I sign into my daughters account, it works.... I’ve reinstalled game, reset Xbox and reset MAC address

Regarding Modern Warfare, we would highly recommend contacting the developer of the game to open a ticket with them for further investigation since it's been 2 months; However, you can go through the following troubleshooting steps to make sure there aren't any issues with your Xbox:

Access Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Could be a problem with PWE as I know star trek online does it too.

If your membership is still active try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account
