online game play with FPS is jittery this morning

Anyone else having jitter during COD or Battlefield this morning? I am on Time Warner (east coast) and it has been awful this morning. Tried the obvious, called the ISP had them check my traffic, no problems. Looked at my router logs, everything looks normal.
Went to pingtest.net, got an A. Got online and streamed some movies, no problem there either but when i get on any COD game or Battlefield Bad Co 2 it is really bad. Is MS getting another DDOS attack again? This is the first time i have ever experienced this
in since i bought the 360 years ago.

Xbox One - Performance Issues and Stuttering

These are framerate drops, this is normal. If a game is at a locked 60frames per second like Forza 5 it looks smooth as butter, but games like cod framerate will drop in certain spots causing the framerate to go from 60 fps to 45 fps, and this will look
like jittery and not smooth like a 100% locked 60fps games. Ryse is a 30 fps game, so when it dips below 30 fps its much more noticeable then if a 60fps game were to lose framerate.

Nothing you can really do other then hope developers will optimize future games better. AC Unity runs at 17 fps 25 fps and rarely hits 30 fps, it runs like utter crud on PS4 and on XBOX ONE.

 

This game just isn't satisfying enough!

Cant get enough of it.



Yesterday i played almost 6 hours in a row, with small breaks between. When i woke up this morning i couldn't wait to pop online again.



And now, i want to play again!!



**** DICE, damn you for making a life over taking online FPS shooter!!! I should Sue you!!

 

Funny you should mention that as i got disconnected about 4:30am and gave up trying to connect about 6:00am after unplugging my router about 15 times. I also have Time Warner (East Coast) so my guess would be it's on there end. Since returning back to there
service a year ago it's been up and down constantly.

 

Ya it's been lagging since last night.

 

To further disprove that it is a time warner problem, I cranked up battlefield on ps3 and it played fine.

So rumor has it that the xbox team has not remedied the attack from a week ago. Along with people using these stupid lag switches, iam going to have to start playing ps3 more until the great Microsoft figures out how fix this mess.

Alright guys first off ignore anything BongKaos ever has to say as it's about enlightening as a moldy sandwich(check around you'll see)....I did some checking and just a couple days back there was a huge Time Warner outage which affected heaps of customers
(it was twitter madness) and apparently there was even a big thing on the news about it (which i missed). Most of it is back up and running with regular maintenance being performed.@Hubbububbu...it's not your Xbox live bud.

 

I have Comcast, and am on the West Coast, and still had problems... But seems better

 

There will be times when XBL and internet goes out. It can sometimes be a natural reason or by accident, it happens. If it's out for days I'd understand, but people really need to be patient. Everything will be fixed soon enough if a outage occurs.
