Online friend visibility problem.

I and a few of my friends have such a problem that we do not see a few friends from a friend who are online and what they are doing on Xbox.

We tried to switch Online / Offline visibility, but nothing helped.

Is there an easy way to view who of your friends is online and what they are currently playing, I thought xbox.com would allow you but it just says playing Xbox One

It could be Privacy settings on the account. If they are friends of a friend and not your friend they can block activity.

Paul from Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the situation, it looks like you and a few friends can't see a mutual friend. Have you tried contacting them to check and see if they have their privacy settings set differently so that random people can't see
his activity? Please let me know how it goes. Here is a link on how to manage

Hi, I've all asked about privacy settings and we all have (No Barriers).

And it is not important whether friends are among the favorites or just as friends.

In short, in a friend, not even in a party, neither me nor my friends see some of their Offline friends, though they are Online and are active on Xbox and even play a game.

 

Sounds like a minor issue that happens on occasion.

I believe this has happen to me, but it fixed itself.

 

Nowhere is the problem solved by myself, I turned on the Xbox and the friends I had offline even when they were online, so I've seen them online and what they do on Xbox.

As to the No barriers that has nothing to do with online privacy settings. They could have it set to custom and have the one where only friends can see them. I have this one set so tons cant find me.

I do not have it this way, but as I wrote, yesterday the problem solved itself by some sort of modification or repair using some update or something with servers. I do not know, but the problem is resolved.
