Online connectivity in minecraft for windows 10

I bought a key for the game to play with my friends, after I downloaded

it the game automatically accesses to my xbox live account but when I go

to the realms tab it says "Your friends are not playing Minecraft right

now" even if they're online playing, when I go into the server list,

under "featured servers" it says "Coming soon" and when I go in the

store nothing loads and it says "We're unable to connect to the store.

Maybe check your internet connection?". The game is up-to date to the

    version 1.4.2.

The internet connection is fine and there's no problem. I've already

tried everything, even modifying registry files for the "Toredo

tunneling service". My privacy settings on xbox.com are all on allow for

multiplayer and my account is not a child account.

Please help, I just want to play with my friends.

    :)

Connect to Xbox One Minecraft Game

Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition | Differences Between Disc and Xbox One Versions

"You can play Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta with other devices running Pocket Edition, such as Windows 10 and Windows Phone devices. Right now, you can play local multiplayer on Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta. Soon after the launch, online
play will be available for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta."

Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition FAQ | Windows 10 Games

Can I play online with other people on Windows 10? Or on different devices?

You can play with up to four other people running Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta or Pocket Edition on your local network. You can also play online with up to four of your Xbox Live friends in online multiplayer gaming.

Connect to external server using Windows 10 Edition

With Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, you can connect and play online with friends on Pocket Edition as well as the Xbox One Edition. However, until the full rollout of the upcoming Better Together update for Minecraft, you aren't able to connect to servers
outside of realms and what I've previously mentioned.

Can't Connect to a Friend in Minecraft Windows 10 Edition

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're unable to connect to a buddy in Minecraft. Its possible that you're unable to connect with your other friend due to a NAT type issue on their end, since you've successfully
been able to connect with others on your end. However, you did say that there are already 4 others in there with you and with Minecraft: Windows 10 edition, you'd be limited to playing with 4 others online (or locally) unless you are subscribers of Minecraft
Realms (this allows up to 10).

For a bit more info regarding that, I recommend the following articles:

I hope that this helps out!

    Hi Hastydaboss

I'm new to Minecraft. What do I do, and how do I play?

Getting started with Minecraft is one of the fun and unique features of the game. There are no tutorials or help guides—the idea is that you learn by playing the game and working it out for yourself. However, if you get stuck or want to learn how to progress
within the game, such as how to build items or expand your inventory, visit the Minecraft Wiki page, where millions of other players are available to help you.

How do I change how my character looks?

If you don't want to play as Steve or Alex, you can choose from one of our skin packs by clicking "Skins" on the home page, or you can create and upload your own personalized skin. For more info, see Create
custom skins for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition
