I'm having an issue where i keep getting kicked out of For Honor mid game or even before the game starts saying to check my internet. Weird because i never have issues with my internet and usually average 40 up and 30 down, with anywhere from 13-60 latency.
It's an issue that has been arising since i believe Monday when i was forced to reset my Xbox to factory settings because it wouldn't get past the the green Xbox One loading screen and that was the suggestion to fix it. It worked but ever since i've been having
random lag spikes and anywhere from 1-96% packet loss. Which is weird because as i stated before i never have internet problems. At first i thought maybe it was just For Honor having server issues, wasn't seeing anything about that, and then it started happening
on games like Overwatch and Star Wars Battlefront 2, with noticeble lag in each and also being kicked out mid game. So i did some research and apparently third party headsets can cause interference if there is no straight line of sight between the console
and the router, so i switched my whole setup around, as i usually had the console on my right at about head height while sitting, which i found to be also weird because i had my setup like that for months with no issue. I figured what could it hurt, so i did
it and it worked perfectly for a day and a half, i went to the store and made myself something to eat a couple hours ago and left my xbox on, i came back to begin playing again and the issue is happening again. Now i'm beyond frustrated having scoured the
internet reading answers that i don't understand what so ever, so if anyone out there could help me out i would truly appreciate it.

So my console is connected to the wifi, but my multiplayer test isnt working still. Im on the wifi but I cant talk to or play online games.

Try to sign out and sign in again if that doesn't helps...

To solve the issue you are experiencing I suggest you to remove the account from your console, clear the console cache and download your account again. Follow the step by step instructions:

a)To remove the account from xbox live console:

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Under "Account," select Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove.

Select Remove to confirm.

When you're finished, select Close.

b) To clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

c)To download your Xbox profile to the Xbox One console:

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

2. Scroll down, and then select Add & manage.

3. Select Add new.

4. Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that's associated with your Xbox profile, and then select Enter.

5. Enter the password for your Microsoft account, and then select Enter.

6. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

7. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences and download your Xbox profile to your Xbox One console.

Thanks for the detailed information! Unfortunately the Technicolor Gateway you mentioned has a little bit of a history with random disconnects from gaming services such as Xbox Live, and there isn't a lot of troubleshooting we can offer due this. We do recommend
reaching out to Comcast to see if they can offer any troubleshooting steps or an alternative device that doesn't have any issues with disconnects. We also recommend possibly looking into acquiring a standalone router and a standalone modem that is recommended
for use with gaming.

We have had some users have success 'bridging' a standalone router to that Technicolor gateway (which basically turns off the router functionality of the Technicolor and works strictly as a modem), but you may need to reach out to Comcast for assistance
with setting that up. We also recommend having a look at our Technicolor
