Ok, so the past few days I've been playing xbox talking in parties perfectly fine but as soon as my party switches to game chat, I can't hear them and they can't hear me. Please Help

COMMUNICATION/ONLINE BAN

Hello, for a strange reason I got my communication blocked on 31-10-2016, now I've gotten a message saying my Online playing has been blocked? On 2-11-2016, I have no idea why I got these bans? Help?

Online communications unavailable

Hello

I have been having the same issue for going on a year now. I am unable to speak to online players or party guests, but i am able to hear them. I was hoping it was a software flaw that would be addressed in an upcoming update, however i am still having the
same issue. I have purchased new controllers and new microphones to no avail. This is a very frustrating issue being an avid online multiplayer gamer. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down? That should solve the issue for you

I've tried that. I was talking to an xbox rep for awhile last night and he told me to test it out in game chat on a game. When in game i can see my mic icon moving but i doubt anybody could hear me and when I play division, nobody can hear me period.

Alright. Go ahead and give that another try. But this time try unplugging your modem/router for 10 seconds while the console is off.
