Hey there Eel! There is no way to fully delete an account, but there are things you can do to alleviate some issues that may be caused here. For example, if you want to free up the Gamertag or WLID, simply change those to something else, and then you can
use them elsewhere. You can also remove all your payment methods and personal information if you no longer wish to use the account.

Whilst it's currently impossible to merge two accounts together it is possible to change your email addresses around.

Preparation:

Firstly, you're going to ensure that if the account is a child account that you have the parental account details.

Secondly, once that's done you require another LIVE email address, if you do not have one already you can do so via visiting

live.com and selecting "Create Account".

Changing E-Mails:

Once you've got two emails (your current one and the one you've just made) you can begin changing emails around.

On the xbox visit the 'settings' tab, from here select 'account' then navigate to the section "Your Information".

Select "Account Security" then "Change Microsoft Account".

Click yes and enter the information asked by the console.

Once you've done this, upgrade your offline account to an online account and enter your previous credentials (for the email you would like).

Complete!

That's the process complete for changing emails.

No, you cannot merge two account together. You can however change the name on the other account, which will free it up and then you can take that name on your main gamertag. However this will cost you twice
the amount as you will have to change the gamertag twice, one on each account.
