Ongoing Freezing Issues with Fable 2 on Xbox One (Digital and Physical)

Dear Xbox Support,

I’m writing to report a persistent issue with Fable 2 on Xbox One. I’ve experienced repeated game freezes both with the digital and physical versions of the game. Initially, I downloaded the game digitally, but it frequently froze during gameplay. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but the issue persisted.

Eventually, I switched to the physical disc version, hoping for better stability. Unfortunately, the same problem occurs — sometimes the game freezes just 2 minutes in, other times after 15 minutes. It’s extremely frustrating and makes it nearly unplayable. I find myself saving constantly, every few minutes, just to avoid losing progress.

I’ve also seen that many other players are encountering the same issue, which suggests it’s a widespread problem. Given how long this has been happening, I’m wondering why a patch or solution hasn’t been provided yet.

Could you please look into this or provide an update regarding a fix? I’d really appreciate any support or guidance you can offer.

The only difference between digital and physical versions how the DRM works. Once the game boots they are identical

These problems have been reported for a long time and I doubt they'll be fixed, Especially since the backwards compatibility team has long since been disbanded or other projects. It is far more likely in my personal opinion which is not insider information, is that you'll see a remaster

Hi David I suggest u clean the disc gently that is if u have the physical disc unless it digital.If it is digital then I suggest reinstalling the game again sometimes it gets corrupt and sometimes it just the disc being dirty to cause the game to freeze.Now
if it a physical disc then I suggest going back and asking for a new one if it under warranty and if nether work for physical or digital then I call xbox support and see what there advice be.

Hmm... Digital games seem to run fine... But having issues with running physical games.. Xbox one takes so long to restart.. When i boot up fallout 4, in the menu it keeps freezing.. what is up?

Adquirí hace unos dias la copia digital de Fable 2 en Game Pass. Asta hay todo bien... Cuando la ejecuto carga bien los menus... Inicio partida, elijo el **** y comienza la cinemática... Se paraliza el juego.... Y no puedo jugarlo. Ya que no
pasa de la cinematica inicial... Tiene solución ese problema??? Gracias!
