    Ongoing 120FPS Issue


    Hello everyone, I am hoping someone else is having this issue and can help me out.

    So I recently purchased the Xbox Series X. I currently own a MAG272C 165Hz 1080p Monitor.

    I have tried Playing Gears of War 5 and Black Ops Cold War in 120hz and the option is always disabled, I just cant change it.

    When I go to Settings - TV & Display Options I can see I'm running at 1080p and the 120hz is available.

    When I got to 4K TV Details under the section "Playing Games" I have a green checkmark stating "Your TV Setup supports upto 1080p at 120FPS"

    So my Xbox is realising I can, but no game is supporting it? I have tried everything.

    xbox series x advertises as a 4k 120hz console but barely any games can run that "false advertisement"

    Actually there are allot of games that are 120fps lmao 🤣 call of duty is one of the franchises also xbox defiantly supports 120fps so how is it false advertising when xbox actually supports 120fps lmao just because games haven't came out for it yet like you said don't mean it doesn't support it and when in actuality games are out that support 120fps

    Ongoing issue with chat.

    Ok I figured something out. Apparently it has something to do with both consoles being in standby mode, and signing in on both of them at different times. If I'm upstairs playing games and I come downstairs, the Xbox downstairs automatically recognizes me
    and signs me in. Then when I go back upstairs, I have to sign back in on that Xbox. I believe this is when the chat stops working upstairs. But I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact moment it stops. From that point on, nothing I do upstairs will fix the
    chat. I think it's because the console downstairs is what's causing the problem upstairs even though I'm no longer signed in downstairs. I guess the console still thinks I'm there somehow? I don't know. Anyway, last night what I did was go downstairs and turn
    that console completely off. No standby. Went back upstairs and did a hard reset and boom, chat is working again upstairs. Obviously having both consoles on standby mode and signing in to both consoles back and forth somehow messes up the chat. I'm now going
    to keep the downstairs console off. No standby. I'll keep this thread updated to see if this fixes the problem permanently.

    I'm also having an issue with the party chat functionality. My system will let me join a party but I cannot hear my party talking nor can the other members of the party hear me. I've tried doing the factory reset multiple times and have updated my controllers
    yet the problem still exist. It doesn't matter if I use my headset or try to use the kinect. Nothing can be heard by either party. Please let me know what I have to do to rectify this situation.
