    OneGuide update frequency for new/added/changed channels


    hi, i am in the uk, and today on freeview/youview STB's (via aerial) some channels changed their station numbers (after an planned/advised retune)

    was just wondering how long XB1 oneguide takes to update to the newer station numbers in its database, as obviously its still directing via kinect ir control to the old numbers

    OneGuide channel listings incorrect for CableOne, Inc.

    Hello all,

    So, in September of 2014, CableOne updated their system to an "all digital" network. This update changed and added numerous channels. However, OneGuide has yet to reflect these changes. CableOne feels that this is a Microsoft problem. I have submitted to
    troubleshooting reports via the OneGuide setup panel. Also, I have reset my TV listings several times, cleared the OneGuide, cleared the history, and changed to an alternate zip code to force a channel update. Nothing has worked. It may be of note that tvguide.com
    also has incorrect channel information for CableOne (ZIP 57049). Yet, zap2it.com has the correct listings. Any ideas?

  3. Xbox One Guide question

    Got a quick question about the OneGuide concerning new tv channels added. On Monday TSN (Canada's ESPN) in Canada is adding 3 more channels (TSN 3, etc). Will the the OneGuide automatically add those channels they they go on air? or does it take a while
    for the OneGuide to add those channels? or, do I have to do anything to add those channels? Thanks.

    Same issue here. This has been going on for a few days now. Surely this should just be an update to the database. I can't see why it's taking so long to get the channel numbers updated.

    i did try and report it directly through troubleshooting in the oneguide section of xb1, but its pretty vague the way they ask you for the info - there is only two fields to fill in, one for the channel number and one for the name, and i was unclear as to
    whether to enter the old channel number or the new one

    in this instance i filled in "132" and "sky news"

    still seems to be using old data, might try clearing again and re-adding it.

    The way you reported the data is correct. Submitting just 1 channel is enough, as the whole lineup gets reviewed. The speed at which it happens varies based on the complexity of the issue and how widespread it is. Thanks for helping us out!

    Channels are incorrect

    Hi thanks for the tip, I tried that and changing the zip code to another area for months. The problem is that the lineup needs to be updated on the Oneguide service. Liberty changed the channels one year ago and I report it and 2 months later receive a message
    that the changes were live and everything was fine. But Liberty changed the line up again like 6 months ago and I wait to see if the channels get updated and reset weekly the one guide but is the same problem that we have one year ago. The guide is for the
    line up before the new change of channels. Oneguide needs to change on your side the channels.

    I have the same issue but my oneguide wont change the channel but when using the remote on xbox app I can type the channel number. The ir blaster works but oneguide needs update
