OneGuide issue: dvi error on cable box

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with Connecting TiVo to the Xbox One for setting up the OneGuide feature.

There are a few requirements to use the
OneGuide with your TV and Xbox One:

• A cable or satellite set-top box with HDMI output, or an Xbox One USB TV Tuner.
• A connection to Xbox Live to download channel lineup information for OneGuide.
• A Kinect sensor or an IR emitter cable.

Unfortunately, as stated in the
TiVo Support article. It seems like the feature will not be applied due to the hardware for TiVo.

TiVo products have different HDMI requirements:

• Roamio Series, Premiere Series, Series3, and TiVo HD DVRs require an HDCP key only when you try to view or record copy-protected material while an HDMI cable or HDMI-to-DVI adapter cable is connected to the box.
• Roamio Series, Premiere Series, and TiVo HD DVRs require an HDCP key any time that you are viewing digital content, whether the content is copy protected or not, if an HDMI cable or HDMI-to-DVI adapter cable is connected to the box.

Thanks for the response. I am using Comcast XFINITY for my cable and my DVR/Cable box is a Motorola. I can't get the model number, since I am at work at the moment. The error code that comes up on the cable box just says DVI.

DU1 (projected as DVI) Is a Cable box error code meaning too many HDMI pass-throughs. I would assume you are using an AVR or some type of HDMI switch or hub. The other possibility is HDMI cables rated under 2.0.

Try powercycle. I know it is a boring idea, but that may resolve the issue (the cable box) Please post your response.

Did your Motorola DCH3200 cable box ever display a "dUl" (or "DVI") error on its front display? I tried to set up my Motorola DCH3200 cable box with my Xbox One.....but i just get a completely frozen image and no sound....the Motorola cable box displays/flashes
"dul" (which probably means "DVI") and switches back and forth between 1080i and 480p.

When I connect the cable box directly to the TV, everything works. And i'm near positive there is nothing wrong with the HDMI cable.

Any ideas how I can resolve this problem??? i'm so frustrated.....

I have a similar issue. I have a cable box that has a DVI out as well (with no HDMI out on the cable box..). So I'm using a DVI to HDMI cable to my HDMI in port on the Xbox One. I'm not getting audio or video when I try to watch TV. Sometimes the video from
the TV flickers on then goes to black.. I've made sure my cable box is set to 720p output, and cycled the power on the Xbox One and cable box. Still just getting the black screen… Any ides on how to fix this issue? Thanks for the help!
