OneGuide in Germany, but VODAFONE TV is missing?

After the update today i try to set up my iptv box form ISP Vodafone call Vodafone Tv Center 1000.

I can choose my Tv and Cablebox (Vodafone TVCenter1000) without problems, BUT when I insert my postcode I only can choose between Astra, HD+, KabelBW (a small regional cable provider), Kabel Deutschland(taken over by Vodafone a few months ago), a couple
of others and Telekom Entertain (beside Vodafone the only other iptv provider and biggest Vodafone TV competitor )

I cannot choose my iptv provider and now I am very frustrated!

Is this a sign Vodafone shut down there IPTV service or did Microsoft just forget one of the two biggest ISP in Germany?

Is there a exclusive joint venture with the Telekom?

Will I ever enjoy the OneGuide with Vodafone even if German TV is ..... necni

So if OneGuide isnt available in Germany, why does the german support pages describe how to set it up and how to use it?

But strangely enough doesnt say a word about it not being available in Germany

 

Super Slow Speed When Downloading From Marketplace

Its still slow here in europe (vodafone germany, just 4-5 mbit/s instead of 50!)

 

Is There really no solution?

 

I'm also interested to lmow since the OneGuide is almost useless otherwise

 

It is more than useless then, occupied storage.

Yesterday I send the Program Manager, Xbox One TV team, official staff member Studbucket33 a message with the link to this thread, also I took a "Xbox Support Forums Experience Survey" and let them know how things went... nowhere!

It's perfect Timing with the football world cup, the nice new BrazilNow App that crashed 4 times yesterday and the nonfunctional OneGuide.. I LOVE MY XBOX1 ?ironie? YEAH

After more than a week... do I make too great demands?

Not all (ISP) TV Provider are supported right now.. I^m from Switzerland and up n here there is no Provider.. I`ve selected this one which was nearliest the same UPC Cablecom in my case... I entered a ZIP fom Germany... know I`m able to Change channels with
my XB1 but the channel Lineup is not the same it would be with the right Provider... But it is possible to passthrough..

And also depend on contracts between Providers and Microsoft,,

Diese TV geschichte wird eine Zeit dauern bis alle ihre Senderlisten an Microsoft weitergereicht haben..

Du musst daran denken das jeder einzelne Provider eigene Senderlisten hat und das Jede TV Box andere Infrarot Codes. Bis da alles Programmiert ist dauerts halt seine Zeit... Vielleicht werden aber auch gar nicht alle supported.. was ich mir zum Beispiel
in der Schweiz gut vorstellen könnte.

Dazu kommt wie du oben schreibste: es werden Porvider übernommen und aufgekauft, Senderlisten werden wieder geändert etc..

Kannst ja auch mal beim Provider nachfragen wie es in Zukunft aussieht... Warscheindlich wirst auch nicht wirklich eine genaue Antwort bekommen. (Bei uns melden die sich nichtmal zurück)

 

Mit dem Steurekreuz kann ich nun zumindest zappen. Für den Guide brauch ich halt noch die Fernbedienung.

 

Hey thank you for the reply! I already contacted my ISP and posted but like you said they do not reply.... Imho that is a real bummer!! I give up on Vodafone, although vodafone is the second biggest Provider in Germany the service is more than a joke...
And after more that two years they have not got one problem of the VodafoneTV set top box solved . I hope you don't mind me adding you

Ja die haben wohl die FAQ noch nicht geupdatet... senderlisten und Informationen werden seit dem Juni update angezeigt und funktionieren seit dem auch in Deutschland Mit dem July update wird auch die Bildqualität nochmal um einiges besser, jedenfalls
hatte ich das Gefühl bei den WM Spielen

Jedenfalls fehlt Vodafone IPTV bei der Providerauswahl was mich eben wundert, da einige nur regional verfügbare ISPs die mit unter sehr klein sind aufgelistet sind. Aber über Vodafone verliere ich jetzt besser kein Wort mehr

Ist aber auch echt ein Mammut-Projekt was Microsoft da vor hat. Chapeau

 

The best way would be to allow the users in some sort of beta enhanced settings page to configure themselfes until full support is given (which will never be 'cause everyone here might have different orders in channel lists)
