Oneguide in Australia

Hi all,

I was looking into getting a TV tuner for my xbox but have seen one reddit post in January that Oneguide no longer works. I haven't been able to find any supporting articles so I wanted to get an up-to-date answer before I buy.

Does Oneguide actually work in Australia or not?

It's working for my, I use it to watch free to air tv nearly every day, but that's all I use Oneguide for, and so can't say anything about the other features, I've also noticed that the Xbox needs to be connected to Xbxo Live for Oneguide to work correctly.

I haven't retuned it or anything like that in quite a while.

Does it display show information still as well? Or just simply the different channels?

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, don't want to buy another xbox accessory that becomes basically obsolete like the kinect that's all!

It has stopped working again for the last week Nov 2019. It's annoying, please fix this great feature

It does display show information as well, you can see the programme names that are currently on, and coming up, and I believe you can view the specific show information (the blurb for that episode/movie/what ever) as well I believe, it's been a while since
I looked at it properly though.

I'm not sure how you will go finding a tv tuner at a reasonable price.
