OneGuide for TV in Ireland

Hello everyone!

As reported on
Xbox Wire, the August update is supposed to include OneGuide functionality for Irish TV providers. I installed the update today and am not able to set this up in any way. By default, only app channels appear in OneGuide. I tried resetting the TV settings,
but it seems to skip the OneGuide setup and I'm unable to enter either my set-top box or TV provider (Eircom).

Have I misinterpreted the update notes or am I missing something during the setup process? Anyone with similar observations?

For OneGuide issues, go to TV & OneGuide settings -> Troubleshooting -> Report a OneGuide problem.

 

Same thing here in Brazil. The changelog:

OneGuide in Brazil, Mexico, Austria and Ireland: Live TV listings can be configured for four new countries as part of this month’s Preview program.

 

If it is in Preview, it can take more than one Preview wave before it goes to public.

Got the above reply when I asked about one guide in Ireland after Aug update.

 

I've chatted with support twice by now and they're suggesting various solutions on how to get it working. I even pointed out the mention of "Preview" in the last conversation and the agent was still confident that it should work.

Once I get home from work, I'll be trying the latest method suggested:

Turns out BurstWinter was right. Sadly, none of the two support representatives knew that the feature was not supposed to be available for the public in the August release.
