Finally it is here, and thankfully. i would like to just say that the voice commands suck for this app. Having to say the channel name is rediculious as I and most others know channels by the number they are on. Saying " xbox watch 476" is easier and
more recognizable for the kinect as well than "xbox watch cp24" since it has gone to 6 other channels before I said F it and grabbed the remote.

Can an we make it do both for the people that know names of channels and people like me that knows them by number?

    thanks

    :)

Premium One Guide May Kinda Sorta Be Coming To Canada Soon

So you Canadians know that the OneGuide still hasn't been enabled yet in Canada and there is no word as to when they'll finally make it available. While I would like to say that would change soon, according to Major Nelson that isn't going to change. Oh their going to do it, but there is no word as too when it'll happen.

When will OneGuide work in Canada?

    Hey Hellspawn 2007,

Sorry but there is still no update to this. Please continue being patient on this subject. You can post in the

    feedback/wishlist
forums so you can be heard.

I find it interesting how voice commands can work great for some things (the home screen; games), but not for others (OneGuide; Internet Explorer app) on Xbox Live. Is the quality of voice commands on the Xbox One dependent on a per app basis or something?

  5. Agreed there is definitely an issue with voice commands still in different apps.

I also dislike the fact I have to scroll through all channels in the guide to get to a certain one. Say channel 300 to channel 599, it's missing little things and big things.

They focused on the actual channels' name over the channel number. There were several reasons for this and the one that stood out was that you could say "watch one-hundred and one", "watch one zero zero", etc. Focusing on the channels' name was more accurate
    with less recognition integration.

Another thing to do is set all of your most watched channels to Favorites. It makes it a breeze to even scroll through.

  7. See im the opposite....All my HD channels are 4 digits long so i tend to forget a lot of them....saying the channels name is so much easier for me and my kids lol Plus adding your favorite channels to the one guide makes it easier.
