OneGuide channels are wrong after Time Warner Cable new lineup

It's hard to believe that we are going on 2 weeks without any solutions. I've read that the same thing happened up North and there is still no change. Apparently, our channels are the same all the way up to Buffalo NY, according to TWC and some other threads
I have read. I too have tried unchecking the "hide SD duplicates", however if made no difference for me. My PS4 fanboy neighbor came over and asked me to show him how the TV integration thing worked, I had to tell him that it was down right now, and I got
the usual, "figures, it's Microsoft" reply... arrgh! This seems like an exceptionally easy fix, how hard is it to reprogram some channel numbers, especially if the channels are the same over such a large region? Okay, rant over, commence waiting sequence...

 

Last night I said "xbox watch AMC" and it correctly took me to channel 35. I checked to make sure I was not in favorites and I was not - I was in the full channels list.

I did a bunch of other channels and they all seemed to work.

Could it be fixed?!

 

That's awesome! Did you have to do anything special? Hard reboot etc? As of last night mine was still tuning to 1120 for NBC. Let me know as I'd love to have this fixed lol!

I just tried NBC and it also took me to 1120 (which is nothing), so it looks like it is still hit or miss.

I have an update on this after playing around with it last night. After resetting the zipcode and unchecking the hide SD duplicates selection, my one guide had all the correct channels. However, the "watch channel" command still went back to the old channels.
What follows is a the solution I found while messing around with oneguide:

First I opened one guide starting at channel 2, by saying "xbox oneguide". That opens the oneguide and has the names of the networks for channels 2-5 on the left in green. Well, channel 3 is wral/cbs here, so I said "WRAL" then "Watch this channel". After
saying that, the kinect voice command seemed to remember the channel, as long as it was on the recent channel list. By using the "xbox oneguide" command along with "page down/up", I was able to navigate through the entire list of channels. I then went though
all the channels that I watch on a regular basis and repeated the step above saying "[network name], watch this channel". I tried the watch command again this morning and it seemed to have remembered all the channels I manually put in last night. This may
also be why the poster above started having his channels work when he favorited them. It's almost like the "watch channel" command has to relearn all the channels one at a time. Hope this helps some people.

 

Rats, after trying it out last night, still the same. It just doesn't make sense since we are in the same area. Here is what I have tried.

*Turning both devices off and back on

*Clearing all One Guide data

*Changing zip codes to other near by areas as well as to Greensboro since we are supposedly on the same channel line up

*Selected Show SD and HD Duplicate channels in One Guide Preferences

*Calling Microsoft

*Calling Time Warner

Nothing works, back to the drawing board...

 

I restored my box to factory defaults and my OneGuide still shows old TWC line up for Goldsboro. Example, TV Japan moved to 1500 but OneGuide shows ESPN at 1500.

 

This is the same problem in Bridgton,ME. Once the channels changed the One Guide recognizes the change of channels but the voice commands still take me to the old channel. Help please!

 

After trying everything I have a solution that worked for me...

There are 2 things you can do. First, put in a different, but close by zip code in the One Guide settings to re download the guide info. After this happens the One Guide should be correct. Once the One Guide displays the correct stations you can navigate
to each channel and then say "Watch This Channel" The Voice Command will then remember the correct channel after it tunes to it once. This is tedious and time consuming. The second option is to restore your Xbox to factory defaults. My XBL account remembered
all of my achievements etc, and the only adverse effect was having to re download my apps, and Forza 5 from the disk. My game progress was still remembered. Once I re-set everything back up from the factory default, all channels (with exception of the local
channels for some reason) tuned correctly using the voice commands. For the local channels I used the first fix and used the One Guide and the "Watch This Channel"command for it to remember ABC, NBC, News 14, CBS, Fox etc... I hope this helps, and Good Luck!!!

 

The problem appears to be fixed today. I went into settings and changed to a different cable provider and then switched back. So far all channels I have tried are working.

 

This is still not fixed in central North Carolina and I'm starting to get frustrated.

Desso, the process is:

1) Post a few specifics (which channels are messed up) here so that Hermes can file an official bug report.

2) Start resetting your OneGuide setup once a day until it is fixed. (I didn't get a message that it was fixed, it just was one day).

 

And now Time Warner in Austin, TX has changed the channel lineup and I am experiencing the same error. Time Warner, zip code 78681, Fox News was 1632 and is now channel 48.
