So I'm jut wondering why a year on we still do not have OneGuide support for Foxtell, Fetch or Free2Air? Countries with less people than us have it >.> It wouldn't have to do with Foxtell not having any plans to support it in the near or far future would
it? **** Murdoch! Or is it because Australia has some of the worst internet out there?

Unfortunately we bought an idea, not a complete product.

Kinect was at the centre of that lounge room experience and with it now being unbundled, and MS confirming devs will have access to more power without it, its now looking more likely that you'll want to remove it in favour of better performance.

If thats the case, then it impacts the vision this product originally had, and might impact any potential for TV/Foxtel guide control in Oz. You can still use one guide and its limited features but it will never be the same experience as in the US.

clearly our voice in australia means nothing, and those who do say something are ignored.

i would have never thought to have used the xbox forums to launch complaints, however, that's what customer support said to do....so here i am....telling a page that will never be read, by anyone thta could make the change.

xbox one australia is absolute rubbish .

it is not a 'all in one console for the home theater' as we were promoised.....and to make it a little less 'not a all in one console' i have to buy xbox gold? (which would only allow me to surf the net and use you tube- which i might add are both free on
    EVERTHING else)

we dont get netflix in australia. but im sure they charge extra per watch as well....

it has gotten to the point where im thinking of swapping to a ps4. and i HATE sony

yeah tv functionality....come on....its not like they have the same tvs in america as in australia....i mean they have their own samsung factories pumping out their own modles of tv...oh wait ...they dont? then WHY THE F!@# IS THIS A ISSUE??????

as im sure this will be flagged as spam or abuse.... btu this has got nothinging on the spam and abuse that microsoft have pulled on the customer...

unbeleivable how disrespectful microsoft has been with its loyal customers in australia...

you would think they would have given us a year subscription free for remaining with a sub-par next gen console.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that support for OneGuide was coming for Australia very soon. It might even be available already, but I couldn't say as I don't use it.

Yes. OneGuide for Australia is supposedly in the Jan 2015 Preview as articles on CNET announce but they are only talking about FTA (Free To Air), at the moment, along with the Digital TV dongle soon to be released in Australia (March, but pre-orders are
    available via microsoftstore.com, I've pre-ordered).

I've been trying to get onto the XBox One Preview so I can try out this in Australia but a few friends that have sent a request for me has not given me access. Not sure what the deal is. But I have my Xbox One connected to my Foxel IQ2 box and I've been
waiting for the OG to be released. And I believe Foxtel is releasing their IQ3 box this month (Feb), so I'm eager to test the Preview of OneGuide with IQ3.

Don't know why it is so hard to get involved in this Preview Program.

  6. When you're sent an invite to the preview program, they seem to let people in along with new updates and there were no preview updates for two or three months. We just got the first new one in ages.

I haven't had a chance to try out the aussie oneguide because I don't have anything connected to my xbox. Maybe after the digital tuner addon becomes available.
