    I think Microsoft removing the OneGuide app is a terrible idea. I’ve just spent £450 “upgrading” to the latest xbox series X and it doesn’t have support for HDMI input so someone thought the oneguide app would not be useable and removed it from the store on the console. What they failed to consider is that a lot of people use the usb dongle to pass tv through to their xbox. I can now no longer use my tv with the new console so i’ve had to keep my old xbox and flick between the two when wanting to play games or watch TV.

    I’ve also heard that the oneguide app will be removed completely from the xbox store in the near future for all consoles. This is just silly when you think about all the useless apps that are just hanging around on the store and they choose this one to remove.

    How hard can it be for Microsoft to just keep the app on the store as a legacy app for the few thousand people that own the official xbox tv usb dongle.

    OneGuide missing from App

    They have officially responded on reddit:

    "OneGuide, including the guide, TV controls, and TV streaming, were removed from the Windows versions of the Xbox app. To use OneGuide on Windows, get the Xbox One SmartGlass app in the Windows Store. OneGuide is still part of the Xbox app on iOS and Android."

    OneGuide is the function for what you are looking for. Either say "Xbox OneGuide" or "x" I believe within the TV app.

    If you go to the settings app under general > TV & Display Options> TV & OneGuide > OneGuide > Under the advanced section clear OneGuide and History. If that doesn't work, on the same tab remove the provider under the HDMI, and a USB tabs, then we can
    figure OneGuide with your service provider.
