    OneGuide and Sinotec TV


    Yesterday I purchased a new Sinotec 50” UHD Smart Plus+ LED TV. (Model
    STL-50E6000M) The Xbox One picks up the TV and I can watch TV through the Xbox but it wont accept voice commands such as "Volume down" or "Xbox switch off". I previously had a Samsung TV and everything worked 100%. I also could not find Sinotec in available
    TV model's when configuring. Does the Xbox One work with Sinotec TV's?

    Have you gone into Settings, then TV&OneGuide, then OneGuide and select TV line-up. Follow the on-screen prompts to set it up.

    Took back the Sinotec and replaced with a Samsung. Problem solved. Xbox and Sinotec apparently don't talk to eachother.
