Oneguide and Changing Channels

Im going to go ahead and try to provide all generic information required for most questions. Ive tried everything obvious and major and im really NOT looking for the "have you tried restarting it yet?" answer. I have my Xbox one hooked up to a samsung tv,
and a cable one "all digital convertor" box. Everything works perfect and flawlessly EXCEPT the oneguide. i have FULL control over everything except changing channels. when i say "xbox watch syfy" it shows my command in the upper right hand corner, and enters
the channel number on the tv screen, but the channel doesnt actually change. When i try to use the Xbox One controller to go into the oneguide menu and change channels again, you can press A on the channel you want and it types in the channel number but it
doesnt actually change. Since the convertor box is new im now stuck using only the tiny remote that came with it, i hate change, but id rather use my xbox to change channels than this terrible quality remote. Im frustrated with Xbox One enough cumulitivly
that im about ready to sell the thing and buy a playstation 4, as i dont want to only have THREE titles to play, i really hope you can help me and save my xbox, Thanks in Advance

P.S. Yes ive already tested the IR blasters, everything is working and within range (working on the kinect anyway). Ive seen you provide others with the correct code to type in for thier cable box, im hoping this is all i have to do, Again thanks in Advacne.

HD channels not showing up

Hey Gaul, can you try manually changing to the SD channels with OneGuide. I believe voice commands should then go to the SD instead of HD channel.

By default, we hide SD versions of channels that have an HD equivalent, this might be what you're seeing. If you want to restore all of the SD channels, you can do this in the OneGuide settings, by changing "Hide SD duplicate channels" to "Show all HD and
SD channels".

please try going following the steps below and let me know if it works for you.

1) Go to the Settings app

2) Select "TV & OneGuide"

3) Select "OneGuide"

4) Select "TV line-up"

5) Enter your postcode

6) Set your TV provider

You should now be able to see all of the applicable TV listings in the OneGuide and also, control the change of channels with your voice.

i dont want to be rude or rash here but if im already using oneguide obviosuly i have already set it up. ive done your steps a thousand times BEFORE posting this. im not incompetant, if it was a simple fix i wouldve fixed it already. all the channels show
up in the one guide. EVERYTHING SHOWS AND WORKS CORRECT. EXCEPT you CANNOT change channels with your VOICE or with the xbox one controller. only the Remote that came with the digital convertor box works.
