    Onedrive sync is old on Xbox One


    I have been going crazy trying to figure this out. I have a PC running Windows 8.1. There was a point in time when I ran the desktop client. I now use the built in Onedrive client on all devices, PC, Surface even the ipad and they all see the same thing
    under my live id.

    My Xbox One see's old information and does not sync with the rest even though its the same id. Is there any way to reset or fix all of this?

    Hi,

    I noticed I cannot play the video's stored on Onedrive very well, strange as I have a 100Mbps internet connection and netflix and youtube perform well. So I was looking for a settings to let onedrive store a copy of my Onedrive files on the Xbox One, but
    it seems not to be an option by design.

    a bit strange to place the Xbox one as a home Entertainment system (I only use it for netflix and xbox live music, not games) but not let you sync onedrive to the hard disk like on a PC...



    any update expected or did I miss the setting to let it sync?

    How do I access my business OneDrive on an xBox one?

    Hello,

    Okay so wherever the OneDrive content you're trying to access is by default already a Microsoft account. You would need to sign into your Xbox One with that Microsoft account email and password which would create a new gamertag for you. That gamertag would
    be the Xbox profile that would be linked to your business OneDrive. So then you would launch the OneDrive app from the new gamertag and it should sync all of your OneDrive content.

    Yeah, it turns out it see's the correct Onedrive. It will see thing I remove but will not see anything new. I have even tried creating folders on the Onedrive website and it still will not see it. Ironically, it will see photo's I take with my Windows
    Phone.

    I think I have an answer. The Xbox One versions of Onedrive only shows picture or videos. From the Onedrive website you click on a folder and change the folder type to pictures.

    How stupid. The folder is still empty on the Xbox One unless you put a picture in it.

    I think I have an answer. The Xbox One versions of Onedrive only shows picture or videos. From the Onedrive website you click on a folder and change the folder type to pictures.

    Based on the description you provided, the icon you are seeing is the icon for "Microsoft OneDrive" which is a cloud storage service provided by Microsoft.
