    One X won't turn on.


    My Xbox one x will not turn on.

    I bought it at Christmas and used it last night and now today, nothing.

    I've tried the plug and unplug thing to no resolve.

    Pretty disappointing to say the least.

    I've owned several gaming systems over the years, but this is the first that just died.

    I just purchased another Xbox one X to use when I'm out of town to game with my children when I'm away.

    I think that I will return the one I just purchased and send this one in for service and have it repaired and then trade it on a PS4 Pro.

    Several of my co-workers travel with their PS4 pro's and have had no issues and that's dragging them around in backpacks in and out of town a few times a week.

    Our Xbox One X died and it hasn't been moved other than for housekeeping.

    Pretty disappointing after spending $500 for the console, 2 extra controllers, a Turtle Beach Stealth 700 headset, 3 Xbox Gold Live accounts, over $1,000 worth of games, and a Game Pass subscription that we cannot use for 14-21 business days plus shipping
    time.

    We never had an issue with our old 360 until it was 5 years old and the One X didn't make it 3 months.

    This is an epic fail for Microsoft.

    x box one won't turn on... power brick light is orange and then white ... I'm the console turns on and then shuts dos I have already tried multiple outlets and have unplugged all the wires ??

    One X won't turn on.

    After I checked the console to make sure it didn't have a disc in it to ship it back, I plugged it back in one more time and it came on.

    The console was left unplugged for over an hour the first time I tried to get it to come on and it would not.

    I have no idea why it decided to start working, for how long, or if it will restart after I shut it down, but for now it is back up.

    We'll see.

    I will keep this post updated on any changes.

    To all,

    I have the same issue, xbox one x suddenly will not turn on (nothing happened out of the ordinary such as a power outage or shutting off mid update).

    I tried using a different power cable - still will not power on. The system is able to output power through the USB ports.

    Havent found much in the way of simple solutions online thus far (everything I am seeing is pointing towards opening the console and replacing the power supply)

    If anyone knows of a good source or reference I would be much obliged if you could share.

    Reddit user: Drakylus fixed it for me.

    Seems to be the external HDD - unplugged that and then it booted- put the hard drive back in and all good.

    Just need XBOX LIVE to stop kicking me off now!
