One X dropping controller connections

We thank you for bringing this inquiry to our forums community, and understand that this concerns controllers disconnecting from your Xbox One console.

Our suggestion here, please attempt reviewing the information found through our
troubleshoot your Xbox One wireless controller support article for a checklist of sorts. If you have confirmed doing
all mentioned steps with all controllers, and the disconnecting is still occurring then the console may be the cause. It may be best to try
doing a soft factory reset of the console, reset and keep games
and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles and stable internet connection.

Do this before determining that the console will need a repair/replacement.

It's the X-box one I'm going through it right now. Was falling asleep last night kept dropping controller and now it's on the screen.

Yes, the wireless adapter works and is probably the preferred way to use the controller. Xbox One controllers connected to windows 10 PC's via Bluetooth cause a noticeable performance drop in games. Connect with a wire or the wireless adapter and the performance
hit is not present. Funny thing is no other Bluetooth controller causes a performance drop in games. It is something specific to the Xbox One controller.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I would say check out the Xbox One Connection and Network Solution support page. Go through the questions
and it does offer some solutions which you may not have tried.

If the issue is not resolved, you may want to either return the Xbox to the store you purchased it from or get in touch with the Device service and replacement to
make a claim under your warranty as it could be a hardware issue.
