One x beep but didnt turn on before i took out the power cable question

Hi!

We have a 2 weeks old xbox one x and now suddently it would not turn on from controller or the console, it beeped one time and thats it.

Only way i got it on again was to pull out the power cable, waited a bit and putted it back.

Now it works just fine and we have used it for another 4 hours or so.

We also have a 1 year old one x and i have never run into this before on this console.

Do it means that it’s something wrong with the new one, or is it something that just could happen and not a hardware fault if it cames back after pulling the cable out?

Try this, there was something on a previous post along similar lines a while back, if it does it press eject on the disc drive once or twice and its worked for a few people, if you have any further issues i wouldn't hesitate to contact support as it's a
new console and you shouldn't be having issues with it so soon

Nothing was wrong with the controller battery, but it was also connected steering wheel with usb.

What happened was that we should turn it on with the wheel, no response, theb trying the controller no reaponse controller wont connect, then turn on with power button on the console, nothing happen other then a short beep.

I think you need to make sure you have your controller battery placed in properly, have the USB cable set. Just make sure you connect your USB cable to your controller and hold the mini-button near LB button. The light shall blink and it would be solid,

I just this second recreated it.

Unplugged power cord from xbox one x and took the Harddrive USB out.

Plugged usb into the xbox then plugged power cord. Wont turn on.

Unplugged both cables and plugged the power cable in first then plugged the hard drive in. Worked fine. Must be a safety feature.

Thank you for responding. If this is a visual glitch, you can try our low resolution boot by Pressing
and holding the Xbox button and the
Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.
Apart from that, I would suggest to keep on trying to access the troubleshooting menu. Test out different HDMI cables or a different TV/monitor just in case.
