One X and Samsung 4k TV vertical bars

So I recently got a Samsung 6 series 4k TV on clearance for my man cave, and I've noticed on my Xbox One X when things are dark I randomly get some faint vertical bars on the screen (slightly lighter than the rest of the screen). I've mostly noticed it
with State of Decay 2 so far (the only other game I've played is FIFA but it's brighter and haven't noticed anything there). I haven't noticed it with Netflix through the TV app, but again haven't watched anything too dark.

I have UHD color on, and everything else pretty much on default settings. Is this just why the TV was on clearance or is there some setting I'm missing somewhere? We have another Samsung 4K in the living room that doesn't have the issue.

Samsung QM85D 4K Panel and xbox One X

Hi, My tv is Samsung QM85D 4K, I had plug my one X to HDMI 1, but it can't show 4K resolution.

after I check the spec of QM85D, DP port is 4K and 60Hz, then I use DP to HDMI cable to connect with One X, TV shows no signal~

any possible way could make my One X display at 4K?

On xbox one x + tv samsung 4k hdr 40MU6405 + mode performance the collectables files is not showing.

But in mode graphicals is showing.

 

Going by what you're saying, it sounds like your TV has a burn-in problem. I wouldn't be surprised if they put it on clearance because of that.

If I were you, I'd go back to the store and return the TV for a refund while you still can.
