one week xbox live suspension

Hi, my name is Sean, and i have just received a weekly suspension, which completely shocked me, I'm not an aggressive or foul mouthed player. I play pubg with random guys and during the squad chat, yesterday I think, someone (I know his gamertag) starts
cussing at me, I think as he died and I couldn't help him, so I retaliated in a private message mentioning a couple of bad words to him. I guess I should have used my mic and cussed at him back during the game rather than send a message. Is that acceptable
to not receive a ban then, is it okay to cuss live in the game? I guess I have to bite my tongue from now on. But for these bans we should be given a prior warning, not handed a weekly ban from voice/text communication straight up. I'm losing patience with
Xbox live service here. Before I played this game, I never received any bans. This is crazy.

Please help me resolve this suspension.

1. You said yourself that it is 2 weeks long, so the suspension is 2 weeks.

2. No one here in the forums knows the answer, except you.

3. No one here can assist you in removing the suspension or provide any information. Other than some staff everyone here is a user of Xbox Live just as you are. Go to enforcement.xbox.com to see the results of your suspension.

Suspensions don't happen immediately. Nothing you did the day you were issued the suspension resulted in the suspension. It likely happened weeks or months ago.

No it is not ok to cuss on the mic or to send back a message back to the gamer tag who set you the bad massage. I would be considered offensive language to use any profanity. Next time don't respond back to the message just go and report the massage instead

Why don't team killers get banned? Happens all the time with me on pubg, I report them but nothing, right? It just happened again.

Why don't team killers get banned? Happens all the time with me on pubg, I report them but nothing, right? It just happened again.

We do not handle anything ban related here. So we have no information to give on that matter. I would suggest following the Above ambassadors advice. There is no reason to send insults or a nasty message.

Reporting is the best you can do for people who team kill

Yes I know that, but to submit a case review, an appeal, you have to answer a stupid questionnaire, why can I not just submit my case without this nonsense. I keep getting the questions wrong, well a couple, you have to get every one right. The questions
are so ambiguous, it's unreal. I will just have to see out this ban, but it makes playing multiplayer games really hard, xbox needs to monitor people's live chat in the games, watching out for profanities used, because thats what happened to me and I have
to defend myself of course. But I know that I will report them from now on. But why can't xbox let us men sort it out privately, even if a few bad words are mentioned, we are adults, this is 2018 guys.

The reason for the questions are for you to refresh your knowledge of the rules. Using Xbox Enforcement | Stay Safe should help you get through them all.

Also no you do not "HAVE" to defend yourself. Be smart, Report,Block and move on. There is NO reason to respond. The reason you cant have it out in private is because you agreed to a set of rules when you made your gamertag and you
have to follow them.
