one specific friend cant join my games and vice versa but we can both join our friends ...

Need help figuring out our network issue:

Game: monster hunter world

I cant join a game with my friend in it but the moment he leaves I can join, and vice versa. we don't have connection issues with anyone else as we've both been able to separately join any game we've been invited to but if either of us is in the game the
other can't join

"Failed to join the session"

Error code : 5038f-MW1

anyone have any ideas?

one specific friend cant join my games and vice versa but we can both join our friends seperately. We've both checked our NAT types and they say open so that's not the problem. Some games we can join each other in(Fort nite and roblox) but most we can't(Gta,
minecraft, terraria, etc.)

 

Problems playing campaign with specific person

Hey everyone,

Ever since I got this game, I have been unable to play campaign online with a specific friend (one of the main reasons I bought the game). We are both able to play social matchmaking games like horde but can not join each other's campaign session. This happens
when either one of us hosts the game.

Other friends are able to join our campaign and vice versa, but it is just this specific person I can't connect with. I recently changed my NAT settings to open and that didn't resolve anything. Her NAT is strict but my other friends are still able to join
her despite this.

Anything I can do?
