One S Says Wired without Cable

Ive recently purchased the One S and it will not allow the wireless to connect due to it reporting a wired connection where there is not one. Ive tried placing a wired cable in and then removing as well as rebooting the box and still nothing. I am finding
this to be MOST frustrating.

A Question about Xbox “Duke” Controller

So your saying that both Xbox Duke Controller and Xbox S Controller should have their breakaway cables the same colour throughout the entire wire. For example if the breakaway cable is black the rest of the controller wire should be black also for the S Controller and also it applies for the Duke Controller where the whole wire including the breakaway cable should be the same colour throughout which would be dark green.

 

Brand new 1 To battlefield pack xbox S Faulty wifi

I just bought new 1to xbox one S , and guess what it is faulty , wifi not working it says that my connection is wired , so i can not set wifi , even there is no any cable attached , test says that i should get it repaired hardware problem , anyone had samse
problem ?

Odd that it's detecting an Ethernet cable still. Have you tried visiting Settings and Network and setting up a wireless connection from there? Do you get an error message or anything like that when you try to set that up? Make sure your Xbox One S is plugged
directly into a wall outlet. If you're using a power strip you may run into some trouble.

 

I have had this correct that issue. Please perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the
power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test the results. Let us know. Good Luck!!

 

I too have had this problem for a while now. Although I do not own the Xbox one S (I have the first addition Xbox one). This problem along with others such as (Not allowing my Xbox to pick up ANY wireless networks in the area) have kept me frustrated for
a while! Both recently stated problems are on and off, some days the Xbox works just fine, others it dose not. and now i believe my 1 year warranty is up so please help me!!
