  2. Xbox one switch off or freezing after changing game/app (Possible fixes for external hard drive side of this error)

Just not been an issue with my original Xbox one, Xbox one S or Xbox one X. My S is in alpha and X is in alpha SA.

In my opinion, the Xbox One X is best enjoyed on a 4K TV with HDR. With the cost of the console itself and a decent 4K/HDR TV, you could find yourself spending at least a grand on this setup. This is definitely a console for the tech enthusiasts,
no doubt. It will still look good on 1080p TV sets, as you still get the high-resolution 4K assets and graphics supersampled to 1080p, but I personally find the enhancements overall to be subtle.

If you're coming from Xbox 360 to see the new graphics of this current generation of consoles,
I think your son will be happy with the Xbox One S. The gaming experience is still impressive, and many available Xbox One S editions/bundles often come with a free game (or some type of deal). Given the amount of money your son has saved,
he'll be able to afford the Xbox One S console and several additional games with it, compared to spending the whole savings on the Xbox One X console alone.

I have the One X now, but I totally regret selling my One S to help pay for it. The S has always been a solid console to me, and I consider it to be the "sweet spot" of all Xbox consoles.

why isn’t a game i bought years ago on my xbox anymore

A Series S/X is different from a One S or X. A One, One S, and One X are all last gen. So if you had a One and a One S, those were the same generation.

I have an xbox one s and it says one x/s games are not playable on this device. Why?

A Series S/X is not the same console as a One, One S, or One X. The Series S/X are newer consoles so newer games will be releasing on those consoles.

GTA V xbox one X|S version

Xbox one isn't xbox one s or x compatible they are all compatible it's only the x that has some enhancements but generally the game will download on any xbox one

Series x is just xbox series s or x

    Not xbox one s

    Can't play goat simulator 3???

It actually would. There's an Xbox One, One S, and One X that are all in the same family. Then there is the Series S and Series X that are in a completely different family of consoles.

An Xbox One X is not the same as a Series X. The game will not work on an One X.

NBA 2K24 disc for my console will not even install error code 0x87e10013

No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

The "One" and "Series" are the console types.
