    One S network setting issue

so I’ve had a one S for about 3-4 months now and when I’m home I have it wired directly to my router but if I ever take it somewhere I use the WiFi capability. Recently it has not been letting me open my network settings whatsoever. Each time I click on
network settings I get this pop up

    Something went wrong

Give it another try. If it happens again, let us know by entering 0x90070490.”

I’ve looked this code up and got no results. I’ve also power cycled my console several time as Well as hard resetting it. Can someone please help?

    :)

Slow network bug (Xbox One S Instant On)

If I use the Instant On setting with my new Xbox One S I have speed issues with the network. I can start up an download at full speed, around 80-100mbs no problem. Put the One S into sleep mode - come out of it later in the day and any downloads I do will
be 10mbs or slower. Rebooting the One S fixes the issue. I'm assuming its a software issue on the OS side.

  3. Xbox One S losing network settings

Weirdly I have pretty much the same issue with my Xbox 360 with the wireless adapter. When I start the console it isn't connected to Xbox Live, yet I can hit 'connect to Live' and it does so.

I've got all the setting correct for automatic connections, it just won't do it.

    Internet Problem

Same problem for me. The Xbox One refuses to recognize my wireless network and tell´s me it´s the wrong network password.

It isn´t because 3 Iphones, 3 Ipads, two separate TV-sets and one PC finds the networks AND recognizes the same password.

This must be and hardware issue with the Xbox One!?

When I need to connect to a new network via WiFi my x box series s will refresh but nothing will pop up

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Xbox forum.

It seems that your Xbox Series S will detect nothing after trying to connect to another network. Let's work on this together in finding the best possibl esolution to this issue.

There are a few things you can try to resolve this issue:

    1. Make sure your Xbox Series S is within range of your WiFi network and that the network is turned on and broadcasting.

    2. Restart your Xbox Series S and try connecting to the network again.

    3. Check that your WiFi network is not hidden. If it is, you will need to manually enter the network name and password.

    4. Try resetting your network settings on your Xbox Series S. To do this, go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

I hope this helps. Looking forward for your response!

    Sincerely,

    Network isnt set up

Where are all the people jumping in to help? I'm having sort of the same issue. We just set up our Xbox One S and the Multiplayer network test says it's not connected. But when I move the network cable over to my old Xbox One, it works fine.
