    One S Controller & Android/ Ouya

    Hi All,

Recently purchased my One S, which I am very very happy with, but wondered how the new BT controller would go when pairing to a Android device - in particular my Ouya console.

I was able to find and pair the controller, but no matter what I tried, the controller would not 'connect' to the console.

Has anyone had any luck pairing the controllers to an Android device? Or is it strictly W10 PC's that the controller will pair and connect with?

    Cheers

    :)

OUYA might compete with next gen?

Do you really need a OUYA development kit when it is running Android? Why would it not run regular Android apps?

A new console is coming.Should MS and Sony be concerned?

Android Platform kicking out Xbox and PlayStation? No... Just.... No. Anyone seen the Ouya give these consoles a run for their money?

It comes with a nifty controller with a touch pad on it apparently.

But I really don't see this being a decent gaming device. I know specs aren't everything, but this is too backward for what gamers are demanding.

Many Android based tablets have the same technical specifications and connectivity options as the OUYA but with the addition of being portable.

The controller with a touch screen will be a nice addition but you can use controllers with android tablets already.

    -

So really people are going to be paying for an android tablet that they can't take with them.

    Hahahahahahaha

I know what you mean CR, I just find it ironic that the PS4's controller became more 360 like, and then the One's turned into, I don't know, the Ouya's? It just kinda looks cheap and awkward, and those triggers don't look very gratifying....
