    HI,

    i have a Xbox 360 with one red light in the middle of the on-switch. My TV shows error-code E68.

    So i followed your instructions on xbox/support and still had that error.

    I packed my Xbox and shipped it to your serevice team.

    Today i got my Xobox back and i was eager to check my "repaired" Xbox. But besides one letter of excuse and a Update CD there, apparently there was no repair made on my Xbox. Same error, Same red light!!

    So i put the update CD in the drive but nothing happens.

    Service order number is SR [MOD REMOVED]

    What should i do.? send the Xbox again in?

    Xbox 360S E68 issue with two different hard drives.

    Additional info: None of the lights on the power button come on apart from the middle one - so this is E68 with no supplemental lights.

    Letter of excuse? The only reason Microsoft would refuse to repair the console is if you broke section 1.9 of the ToU and opened the console.

    more like a letter saying sorry for the inconvieneiens that the Xbox broke in the first place.

    I never touched or opened the console.

    My 6th Xbox 360 just had a hardware failure!

    Over time 100% will fail. The business model microsoft and others adopted using refurbished units to replace defective ones should be considered. When the console displayed the error code e68, 72 etc among red ring, 3 red lights flashing, etc you have
    to consider multiple failures of the same consoles. I've had some consoles last a few weeks to the extreme of one lasting 4 years and still going.
