One Profile Connects, the other one can't - same console

Discus and support One Profile Connects, the other one can't - same console in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Don't know what's happening.     One Profile Connects, the other one can't - same console


    Don't know what's happening. My daughter can sign in just fine to Xbox Live, but when I try, I get a msg that says Xbox cannot connect to the internet. And "would you like to do a network test blah blah blah. I do, and it connects to Xbox Live, but with
    a matchmaking error or alert or something. What am I missing?

    2 Xbox's only 1 will connect

    I have two xbox's both slims, one can connect to xbox live and one can't, both are on exactly the same connection and both have been tested with same ethernet cable yet one console will not connect.

    -

    I have also swapped hard drives around and on the console that wont sign in, both profiles won't connect to live whereas on the one that can, both will connect but when i go to sign using the profile from the console that can't connect it asks for my profile
    password and then gives an error saying service unnavailable.

    Unable to download content on 360

    Same problem when connected via Ethernet cable. Downloaded my profile to one of my kids 360's just fine and other content downloaded fine as well. I move my profile to my console and I can't connect again.

    As mentioned that can't be done. But the good news is if the profiles remain on the same console 'most' DLC can be used by any accounts. So long as you're connected to LIVE.

    Edit: You actually may not have to be connected to LIVE so long as the purchasing account is on the HDD. But hopefully someone can clarify this one way or the other.

    One more of the xbox live profile cant connect!

    Hi

    It should not cause your other console to power off the only thing that should happen is your profile will only be allowed to be signed in on one console at any time and will get logged out on one of the consoles. If they are both connected to the same wall
    outlet/ power strip can you try connecting them to two different ones to see if you still experience the same issue.

    You only can sign in to one console with Gold at a time.
    That is incorrect, the home console will be able to have other accounts on that console utilize gold even if the account with gold is playing from another console. However you can't have the same profile signed in at two places at one (unless it is Xbox
    360 on one, and Xbox one on another).
