One of two xboxes gets booted from parties

My girlfriend and I both game next to each other (close enough to where we only use 1 headset because the mic picks up both of our voices). Despite this, we randomly get kicked from games. It is never both of us at the same time, just one or the other. We
do not lose internet connection during the boot (as we are never kicked from the party chat). Example is we can be playing Halo 5 with a group of friends and when we start up a match (custom or pvp), one of us will get kicked from the game before it starts,
but stay in the party; we just have to sit there and watch the other person play the match while still in the game party. Other games it happens on is Warframe and 7 Days to Die (the only games we play online with other people).

I have an xbox one plugged into a wall outlet and she has an xbox one s plugged into a surge protector. Both xboxes are about a foot away from each other (we have the tvs set up on an over-under format) and are wired directly into the router about 2 feet
away on new cat6 cables. Our internet connection is 500mb/s. I have contacted Microsoft support and they suggested to plug into the wall outlet and enable UPnP on the router (which I have done). From there, I went to my ISP and they gave me another new modem/router
combo (the best model xfinity offers), which was set up. I called them and they did all of the remote checks and it seemed fine, so they set up a port forwarding for each xbox after assigning them a static IP. Then I had to contact Xfinity again who had a
service tech come out, and he replaced all of the wires going from the street to my modem. It does not matter how recently I have reset EVERYTHING (quit game, hold power button 10 seconds, unplug power cord from outlet and xbox, restart the router, plug everything
back in and start it up), it can happen on the first attempt, or the 20th attempt, but inevitably, one of us will not be allowed to play in a match or two while the other plays in it.

Hi XBF George L,

I have access to my router's settings. Why would I switch over to Wi-Fi over a wired connection? That seems counter-intuitive on our issue of one of us not being able to load into a game at random times while the other one can (despite us not losing internet
connection- as in we stay in the Halo 5 party but just cannot load into the match and we stay in the private chat). The consoles are trusted and we have an open NAT.

I have access to the DMZ options on the router, though I have never had to work with that before. Any suggestions on how to do that correctly?

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues with having two consoles maintain connection to the same network simultaneously. Have you tried using the Wi-fi options? Does it give you the same trouble?
Have you talked to your internet service provider about setting the consoles as trusted devices or in DMZ? Give it a try and let us know with a reply how it goes!

An easy thing to report back on that I didn't see is your Network Test, particularly around the NAT results. This will tell you if the port forwarding is working correctly in that both consoles will show Open.

Hello MAJOR,

To inquire about the DMZ, this is not a necessary step to perform as it will turn off firewalls that would protect your IP address from getting accessed, or rather leaves you more exposed that occurrence.

The reason XBF George mentioned WIFI options, maybe for at least one of the consoles, is to ensure that this occurs with a different version of the network seeing as two consoles being connected to the same network can cause issues such as what has been
stated.

In some cases, this can be as simple as changing the port that the console is currently set through the alternate port selection within the advanced settings of network settings.

Could you attempt to check if changing the current port selection for one of the consoles assists with this issue?

i have been able to sign-in to xbox live now, however for the last two nights I was getting intermittent problems getting booted from xbox and immediately signed back in causing me to get booted from the game i was in and the xbox live party i was in.
