one of the worst games ever!!!!!!

There are some many things wrong with this game that I can't even begin to list them all. I'll just start with having some major controller issues. Most of the time when I try to turn my tank it decides to go left when I'm pressing right, or right when
I'm pressing left. No I am not in reverse. I even went and purchased a new controller figuring maybe I needed a new one to no affect. I know I'm not the only person who is getting this issue.

The next major issue I have with this game is the spotting. Half the time it doesn't work, no matter how close or far away they are from you. They could be sitting right in front of you and the detection system will tell you nothing until after they have
killed you. Doesn't matter if you are facing them. I mean common sense states you should be able to see the hand in front of your face, but not according to this game.

These are just two issues I have found with the game, and as far as I am concerned Microsoft and Xbox needs to hold their head's in shame for allowing this fiasco of a game onto their network. Let alone allowing their players to actually purchase stuff
for this thing they call a game.

I did not realize that the Battleship Game was an FPS

This is one of the worst games I ever seen.

 

when you use your control stick and put it straight left to turn left , in a hurry , it can happen that the stick is slightly ( doesn't need much at all ) towards the back end , making it as if you were turning while backing up , which will reverse the direction
of the turn . it happens ... to everyone , all the time . no big deal , just need to be smoother with the controls .

spotting mechanics : the never ending complaining about spotting could be stopped if people did a bit of research before going off like this . spotting the way it has been done in the game was necessary for balancing issues between the different tanks and
tank classes . sure it is not the most realistic thing in the world but this is a game ... NOT A SIMULATOR . if everyone had the same range of vision in the game , there would be no need for scouting tanks and i already feel bad for the guy who would get a
borsig or a waffentrager . yes , if you don't have the right equipement , your crew leveled with the right perks in a T-95 , the guy with full crew , binocs and optics in his RM borsig will blast you before you can see anything . learn to play with that ...
that is actualy why you will also have scouts in your team .

as far as MS being ashamed of this game ... they actually should be proud to have brought a game that requires strategy and actual teamwork in order to win battles . definitely a good change from all the generic run and gun FSPs that littler the system .

 

WSW gave an honest & accurate assessment about 2 of the game's MASSIVE flaws & this guy "jumped"at the chance to write his WoT APOLOGY that is LONGER than the original post. (I'm sorry that you wasted money on another controller, when the fault is WoT.)

If you like the way this game "plays"...that's GREAT! Go spread the word.

If you can't overlook the HUGE holes in game design & play mechanics (he actually bought a controller trying to correct the FLAW), that's GREAT, too (it shows that you can't be tricked by shiny beads or bought off by 3 days of FREE premium membership)!

Lesson: When a player has a bad WoT experience (& there WILL be many more), NOTHING you say will convince him that it didn't happen!
