One of my xbox accounts is not signing in to my console

but can i and my two brothers all play online together with my account on their consoles so example if I'm the only one signed in on my console and my brothers signed in on their consoles with just their account can we all still play together with my account
on their consoles but my profile is signed out on their consoles?

Reminder: You can only sign in a specific account on one console at a time or it will boot out if you try to sign in the same account on a different console.

I can sign in to my account with no problem on my Xbox One, but not my Xbox 360. Are we no longer able to use the same account between the 2 consoles?

The most likely thing that happened is that somebody else has signed into their console at some point and made it their own "My Home Xbox", which essentially marks it as their main console.

Basically the way it works is like this; Lets say, before I got my Xbox One, I went to a friends house who had one and recovered my gamertag onto it so I could use my own account to play with. Because that was the first Xbox One console that I signed in
on, it is now my accounts home xbox. Then later on I get my own, sign in, and start buying games. Everything will work just fine on my console, but anything I buy will automatically download to the home xbox as well. This will continue to happen until I go
into the setting and on mine and designate it as my home xbox. The main difference is that on the home xbox anything I buy can be used by any account but on my own console, which is not my home xbox, content is only available while my account is actually signed
in.
